To address business priorities the University needs to consider what student system is required to support new business requirements and new ways of working. The current system has been in place for 10+ years and, while it has supported the business well during this time, it now needs to be refreshed to meet current business requirements and to address the changing higher education landscape. The University requires a new solution to act as an enabler for change, to improve on business processes and to put in place a robust, digital platform for the future. To address business priorities the University needs to consider what student system is required to support new business requirements and new ways of working. The current system has been in place for 10+ years and, while it has supported the business well during this time, it now needs to be refreshed to meet current business requirements and to address the changing higher education landscape. The University requires a new solution to act as an enabler for change, to improve on business processes and to put in place a robust, digital platform for the future. The new solution will be introduced on a phased basis. The University is inviting tenders from suitably qualified suppliers with the appropriate product range and experience to deliver a supplier hosted student system for the duration of the agreed Term. A supplier-hosted solution will provide the system that the University will use and access on a day-to-day basis by providing an I.T infrastructure that is not owned or managed by the University. The successful supplier will be responsible for the security, maintenance, upgrade, and management of the solution as defined in this tender. It is a key requirement that the University can manage general administrative functions with little to no supplier intervention, including but not limited to; user profiles, workflows, and report/dashboard outputs.
