Tender description

A service that will provide design and manufacturing diagnostics and further specialised support to businesses in Wales. The successful provider(s) will be awarded onto a Framework agreement which will consist of two lots. Key objectives are to increase the number of manufacturing-innovative and design-innovative businesses in Wales. Lot 1 — Manufacturing Diagnostics and application of productivity tools — A maximum of three Framework Providers will be awarded to this Lot. The manufacturing productivity diagnostic will include continuous improvement, workplace organisation, quality systems, value stream and process configuration. Lot 2 — Design Diagnostics and application of design tools — A maximum of three Framework Providers will be awarded to this Lot. The design productivity diagnostic will include market feasibility, concept design, design process, design for manufacture and product compliance standards.
