Summary of the work Working closely with the Director and Programme leads for Digital/People/Space/Operating Model. Ensuring appropriate identification, escalation and resolution of issues. Managing dependences between programmes/projects. Regular reporting to stakeholders. Constituting and administering the overall Programme Board. Ensuring the successful delivery of the programme Active participation in each of the constituent programme boards Specialist role Programme manager Expected Contract Length 6-12 months Latest start date Monday 30 October 2017 Maximum Day Rate £750 Who Speclialist Work With Managing the Homes England Development Programme and associated resources on behalf of the Director and working closely with the programme office and programme teams and also with external partners. What Specialists Work On Managing the Homes England Development Programme Skills & Experience • Running complex programmes in Government • Running transformation programmes with strong people, digital and operating model elements. We want someone whose experience is wider than simply digital. • Experience of effective engagement with senior stakeholders across a number of organisations and programmes/projects. • Excellent communication and presentation skills • Matrix management experience • Proven track record of completing and delivering programmes and realising benefits Nice to Haves • Agile Practitioner Qualification • Programme Management Qualification • Project Management Qualification • Degree 2:1 or better • Working on programmes with geographically dispersed project teams • Working on programmes with many key resources having multiple other commitments Work Location Based in our offices at 2 Marsham Street. Government Security Clearance would be an advantage. Working Arrangments The role will be onsite in our offices at 2 Marsham Street in Whitehall. Limited home working may be possible once the role has settled in. Regarding clearance you have mentioned - SC clearance preferred - If a candidate does not have SC clearance, will you consider him without clearance or will you sponsor clearance for that candidate? Yes we will consider candidates without SC and if successful we would support their application for SC. 2. Programme Management Qualification - are you looking for PgMP certified candidates or any other similar certifications - please specify? We are not specifying a specific qualification but would encourage candidates to provide information of any programme management qualifications they have. 3.
