Based on work in Professor Daniel Walker's lab at the University of Glasgow, we are tendering to engage a contract manufacturing organisation (CMO) to support process development of a recombinant protein and scale-up leading to production of material for in vivo safety and toxicology studies. The protein, pyocin S5, is currently under preclinical evaluation. The active molecule is a bacterial protein produced by recombinant technology using E. coli cells.
