NHS England South Orthodontic Market Briefing Event

A number of contracts to provide orthodontic services in the South of England will be coming to an end on 31st March 2019. NHS England will be holding a procurement process to award new contracts to provide orthodontic services from 1st April 2019. NHS England South will be hosting market briefing meetings for the upcoming procurement of orthodontic services across the South of England. The meetings have been scheduled for the following dates and locations:- Date Location Time 16th October 2017 Guildford 19:00 - 21:00 17th October 2017 East Grinstead 19:00 - 21:00 18th October 2017 Ashford 19:00 - 21:00 30th October 2017 Cornwall 19:00 - 21:00 31st October 2017 Exeter 19:00 - 21:00 1st November 2017 Taunton 19:00 - 21:00 2nd November 2017 Chippenham 19:00 - 21:00 7th November 2017 Gloucestershire 19:00 - 21:00 8th November 2017 Dorchester 19:00 - 21:00 9th November 2017 Winchester 19:00 - 21:00 15th November 2017 Oxford 19:00 - 21:00 *We are in the process of finalising venues for events, we will advise you of these when you have registered Events have been arranged to take place in the evening to avoid any clash with clinical sessions. At the events we will share the outcome of the health needs analysis undertaken across the South and how that has influenced the location and proposed activity in specific areas. It is also an opportunity to share the results of national work in determining future pricing strategy for these services and how this can be applied locally. Details of the Dynamic Purchasing System (being used to procure these services) and how the procurement and selection process will operate will also be provided. Each meeting will have a focus on the services required locally but there will also be an opportunity to receive information on services from wider areas should any provider be unable to attend the event in their locality. For providers who have already registered on the Dynamic Purchasing System it will be an opportunity to consider, taking account the proposed contracts size and location, whether their application is still applicable or whether they would wish to reapply in a more appropriate configuration. The events are open to all providers who may want to deliver NHS orthodontic services in the future.
