H&I is a strategic business function of NHSBT, providing testing and support in transplantation and specialised transfusion including the supply of selected blood products, immunogenetics, platelet and granulocyte immunology. The requirement for this procurement is for the supply and support of HLA Next Generation Sequencing for clinical samples. This will be for equipment, maintenance and all reagents and consumables. This Framework Agreement is divided into lots: Lot 1 — Equipment; Lot 2 — Kits, Lot 3 — Canadian requirements. This Framework Agreement is for a period of 4 years. It is the intention of NHSBT to award a Framework Agreement for these requirements by 15 June 2017. The following contracting authorities will be able to purchase against the Framework Agreement: NHS Blood and Transplant, UK Forum members (Welsh Blood Service, Northern Irish Blood Transfusion Service, Scottish National Blood Service), Irish Blood Transfusion Service and Canadian Blood Service. Supply and Support of HLA Next Generation Sequencing Systems Lot 1 — Equipment The following contracting authorities will be able to purchase against the Framework Agreement: NHS Blood and Transplant, UK Forum members (Welsh Blood Service, Northern Irish Blood Transfusion Service, Scottish National Blood Service), Irish Blood Transfusion Service and Canadian Blood Service. Supply and Support of HLA Next Generation Sequencing Systems — Lot 2 Kits The following contracting authorities will be able to purchase against the Framework Agreement: NHS Blood and Transplant, UK Forum members (Welsh Blood Service, Northern Irish Blood Transfusion Service, Scottish National Blood Service), Irish Blood Transfusion Service and Canadian Blood Service. This ITT is for Canadian Blood Services (CBS) requirements relating to NHSBT1031 HLA NHS systems. These requirements are to be used by CBS only in the event that they utilise the framework agreement.
