Tenders are sought for the supply and installation of 3D imaging and metrology system. The non-contact measurement system must be capable of measuring the shape and surface characteristics of components, and quantifying the effect of wear on micro machining tools and parts. The requested infrastructure will provide a 3-D imaging and metrology system suitable for measurement of surface roughness, topography, texture, as well as geometric form and features on free-form surfaces at dimensions ranging from nm to cm scales. This will enable quantification of the manufacturing accuracy of precision components, including metallic, polymeric, ceramic and composite materials.
