Enhanced Nursing Home Service

Tender description

South Gloucestershire Council is seeking expressions of interest from organisations to provide enhanced nursing home services for adults with dementia, including younger adults, who may be exhibiting psychiatric symptoms or behaviour that challenges as well as dementia. Nursing homes rated by CQC as good or outstanding may offer enhanced services for a single service user or more. The contract will start in November 2017 and will run until 31st March 2020. We are able to offer community mental health team support for nursing homes within or close to the South Gloucestershire borders. A flexible staffing approach is required with tapering levels of support required as service users settle in and triggers and other individual behaviour management techniques become familiar. If your organisation is interested in tendering for this contract, then the Invitation to Tender must be completed and submitted via the South West Procurement Portal by 12:00 noon on 27th October 2017. Clarification Questions must be submitted via the Portal ONLY by 18th October 2017.
