Career and Competency Framework for Liaison and Diversion Services

HEE welcomes applications from organisations who have previous experience of developing career and competency frameworks, which includes mapping the patient pathway and the different components of staff roles at various points in these pathways, for healthcare and/or Criminal Justice System. The successful bidder will: •be required to actively engage with and facilitate expert stakeholder groups (clinicians, police, Youth Offender Teams, court staff, probation, magistrates and other relevant stakeholders) who possess the right knowledge, skills and experience to be able to inform the development of the frameworks •be experienced in mapping patient pathways and identifying the different stages throughout the patient pathway •be experienced in mapping the various elements of the Criminal Justice System pathway and be able to interlink with health pathways •Identify the various staff roles, including CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEM roles encountered as they progress through the CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEM, throughout the patient pathway and the different components of each staff roll •Identify the required skills, knowledge, education and training, understanding and behaviours required for each function for the member of staff to operate safely and effectively within the core settings of health, social care and CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEM.
