BHNFTT1493 Radiology Reporting Service - AWARD

Tender description

Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is inviting bids from organisations who are able to provide the Trust with an outsourced reporting capacity performed by Consultant Radiologists. Service Provider(s) will receive work lists electronically and will be responsible for the pulling of images, associated reports and prior studies. Service Provider(s) will provide a comprehensive diagnostic report to be electronically transmitted back to Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust's Radiology Information Service (HSS CRIS). The successful Supplier shall drive innovation and deliver best value services and continuous improvement in cost savings and efficiency gains across the life of the new contract. There are two key drivers behind this contract: 1. The consistent delivery of accurate and timely high quality diagnostic reports 2. Value for money Outsourced reporting is recognised to be a mature and competitive market, so Suppliers will need to demonstrate how they can deliver both of these objectives.
