Tender description

Thanet District Council is seeking a supplier to develop and implement a full scheme of wayfinding installations to increase footfall to key shopping and tourism sites in Margate Central. In 2014 Thanet District Council and Margate Town Team commissioned a report to outline a potential system for helping visitors to Margate to navigate its key sites. This formed part of a wider programme of works to increase footfall to key attractions around Margate and contribute to wider economic development of the town centre. With Margate’s growing popularity, the next phase of wayfinding work is now required. The Contract is anticipated to commence in October 2017 with a completion date of January 2018. Important Information: All procurement documents are attached to this notice and available for suppliers to download and complete according to instructions contained. The procurement will be undertaken on the basis of a Quotation. All quotations will be accepted subject to the bidder providing suitable responses to pass/fail questions ensuring minimum standards are met as set out in the Invitation to Quote document. Evaluation will be on the basis of criteria as set out in the ITQ document. Any clarifications or questions must be submitted via the Discussions area of the Kent Business Portal by no later than 16.00hrs on Friday 6 October 2017.
