This Prior Information Notice (PIN) is to inform the market of an invitation for providers of Lone Worker Monitoring solutions to attend an event to demonstrate their product to help inform Newcastle City Councils specification in readiness for a possible tender opportunity. The Council are seeking a Lone Worker Monitoring solution and related products to provide a standard solution across all business areas. As a minimum, the potential supplier will offer the following: — A discreet wearable device. — An app. — An Alarm Response Centre for handling and escalating alerts. — A platform/system for managing staff profiles/accounts/devices and reporting. Lone Worker Monitoring solutions and related products market engagement event (PIN) This Prior Information Notice (PIN) is to inform the market of an invitation for providers of Lone Worker Monitoring solutions to attend an event to demonstrate their product to help inform Newcastle City Councils specification in readiness for a possible tender opportunity. The Council are seeking a Lone Worker Monitoring solution and related products to provide a standard solution across all business areas. As a minimum, the potential supplier will offer the following: — A discreet wearable device. — An app. — An Alarm Response Centre for handling and escalating alerts. — A platform/system for managing staff profiles/accounts/devices and reporting. This event is free of charge. No expenses will be paid by the Council for your attendance. Event Date: Monday 9.10.2017 Location: Newcastle Civic Centre 1 hour presentations will be scheduled which may include a system demonstration from providers with a confirmed agenda to follow. There is a limit to 6 x slots in total that will be filled on a first come first service basis. You will be given a timeslot to attend the event when your registration has been received. The closing date for requests is Friday 6 October. This PIN does not formally signify the beginning of a procurement process and does not constitute commitment to undertake a procurement exercise.
