SUPPLY OF FASTENINGS AND FIXINGS

Tender description

We are seeking to procure one supplier for the supply of Fastening and fixing materials. The estimated annual value of these items is £17,000. This is based on historical usage. KWL can offer no guarantee of spend, volume or frequency of orders made to any supplier. The supplier must note that the service to be provided is not an exclusive arrangement and in order to meet the conditions of our contracts KWL may seek other suppliers in the event of service failure. The contract will be for a 3-year period commencing on 4th September 2017. The contract may be extended for a further 1 year period subject to a value for money review which will take into account cost, performance and quality delivered during the original contract term. The award of contracts shall be carried out in accordance with KWL Purchasing Policy. Supplier Service The successful supplier must be able to provide an efficient delivery service (within 24 hours of ordering) to our main stores situated on Connaught Road Hull HU7 3AP. It would be advantageous (not compulsory) for the Supplier to have local premises HU1 - HU9 postcode areas from which KWL operatives can collect from as necessary. The successful supplier will be expected to have the KWL stock coded items detailed within the tender available for us to call off to order.
