Hastings Borough Council are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to provide a Leisure Management Service at their Summerfields Leisure and Falaise Fitness Centres. The Council encourages bidders to visit the Centres in order to fully prepare their proposals. To facilitate this a site visit day has been arranged on Thursday 5.10.2017. Bidders should contact procurement@hastings.gov.uk to register their interest and obtain details about the agenda for the day. Hastings Borough Council are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to provide a Leisure Management Service at their Summerfields Leisure and Falaise Fitness Centres. The Council will award to the Contractor a service concession to manage the Centres, with a right to exploit the services to be delivered at the Centres and retain any payment which is received from third party users. The Council will grant to the Contractor leases to both Centres to enable them to deliver the services under this arrangement. The Contract is for an initial period of 5 years with 2 optional 24 month extensions (at the sole discretion of the Council) — maximum 9 years in total.
