Tender description

A commissioning review of Speech, Language and communication needs for children was previously undertaken on behalf of the Betterstart partnership. The review concluded that a focused universal and early targeted speech and language service was required for children aged birth to 4 years. The commissioned service will: Provide early identification and interventions for 0-5 year olds with speech, language and communication needs; Develop a children's workforce that have skills, knowledge and confidence in speech, language and communication needs; Support parents and carers with appropriate information and skills to be able to effectively communicate with their children. Provision of early identification and interventions for 0-5 year olds with speech, language and communication needs.
