Tender description

Manufacture, Supply and Delivery onto the UK rail network of 16/24-off FNA Nuclear Flask Rail Wagons Vehicles are to be certified/homologated in accordance with the Freight Wagon Technical Specification for Interoperability (T.S.I.)/UK Notified National Technical Rules (NNTR's) for use on the UK Rail Network Infrastructure. On completion, the vehicles are to be made available for collection by rail at a mainland UK location to be discussed and agreed. Vehicles must be delivered in phases commencing in December 2018 and ending in March 2019. 1 set of spares will also be purchased as part of the contract. A Security Aspects Letter will be issued by NDA to shortlisted suppliers following the SQ/PQQ stage and only organization who meet the requirements of the Security Aspects letter will be able to tender. Bidders will also be required to have Cyber Essentials Plus (or equivalent) by contract award.
