United Utilities are currently undertaking market research and would be interested in talking to suppliers who are able to provide Goods and Services in line with the specification outlined within section II.2.4 of this notice. We will then use this information to help determine United Utilities overall approach and any future strategy in relation to Procurement of strategic fuels (for use in applications outside of on-road fleet vehicles). Any subsequent Tender will be advertised at a later date via a separate notice. The scope is for the supply of red fuels (Diesel and Kerosene) for use in UU's fleet of off road machines such as plant and generators and for the purposes of providing heating. There is also the requirement for an emergency storage of DERV to be delivered or collected as required in the event of a fuel shortage. The scope of this requirement may include but is not limited to the following: — Supply and delivery of Red Diesel (Gas Oil); — Supply and delivery of Red Kerosene (Burning Oil); — Supply and Storage of DERV; — Associated services (KPIs, tracking, metrics).
