LED Replacement Scheme

Tender description

The Contract is to replace existing lighting within various buildings and car parks with energy efficient LED lighting. The works are located at: • Roe Valley Leisure Centre, Limavady. • Roe Valley Arts & Cultural Centre, Limavady. • Joey Dunlop Leisure Centre, Ballymoney. • Ballymoney Town Hall, Ballymoney. • Coleraine Leisure Centre, Coleraine. The scope of the works will include: • Measuring existing general and emergency lighting levels. • Removal and disposal of existing general lighting, emergency lighting and external lighting. • Replace existing general lighting, emergency lighting and external lighting as set out in works requirements. • Install new lighting controls as set out in works requirements. • Test and commission lighting in accordance with CIBSE and British Standards • Measure new general and emergency lighting levels. • Testing and commissioning of Electrical installation associated with upgrade of lighting It is anticipated successful applicants will be invited to tender in September 2017 subject to the timing of the procurement process meeting the Contracting Authority’s governance procedures. It is expected that construction works will commence in mid-December 2017 with a 7-week construction period.
