This procurement process will cover the supply and delivery of Fire Services Workwear, Corporate wear and ancillary items. This Prior Information Notice is to inform the market that Kent and Medway Towns Fire Authority is intending on leading a collaborative procurement process on behalf of Fire and Rescue Services across the UK for the provision of Firefighters workwear, corporate wear and ancillary items. It is envisaged that the framework arrangement shall run for a period of 4 years, with the option to award call-off contracts for a maximum of 4 years. The Authority plans to engage with the market to present a high level overview of the national requirement and the proposed procurement strategy at an engagement event scheduled for 11.10.2017. Full details of the engagement day and all associated communications shall be managed using the Kent Business Portal and any interested suppliers are encouraged to register on the Portal to ensure that they are notified of any updates.
