Tender description

Guy's and St Thomas NHS Foundation Trust (GSTT) have tendered a framework covering multi-trade Minor Works (also known as Small Building Works) for a period of 2 years with an option to extend for a further 2 (1+1). The framework consists of two (2) Lots, covering Minor Works to be carried out across the Guys and St Thomas estate up to an individual job value of 100 000 GBP. Works carried out will be the same or similar to minor ward refurbishments, laboratory and toilet upgrades and refurbishment, internal alteration to laboratory's, offices and clinical areas and external roof, façade and paving repairs. Lot 1 is for minor building works with an individual job value between 0 and 25 000 GBP. The Trust has awarded framework contracts to a panel of five (5) suppliers to this Lot. The first ranked supplier following the tender process has been appointed as a call off supplier to be used for all emergency/reactive works under a value of 5 000 GBP. The first ranked supplier was GM Building Contractors Essex Limited. All other works are to be subjected to mini competition between all framework suppliers. Please note that the estimated total value is the maximum value that can be awarded via this Lot and is by no means an indication of the value of work successful suppliers can be expected to win via the framework. Lot 2 is for minor building works with an individual job value of between 25 001 and 100 000 GBP. A panel of five (5) suppliers have been awarded a place on this framework for this Lot. All works awarded via this Lot are to be subjected to mini competition between all framework suppliers.
