Tender description

TfGM has committed to expand the smart-ticketing capability available to the travelling public of Greater Manchester, and is working with TfN to realise a vision to achieve integrated ticketing across the North of England. To support these 2 policy objectives, TfGM needs to secure the provision of a service prior to TfGM's adoption of the subsequent TfN ticketing service, whilst also effectively integrating TfGM's existing ticketing infrastructure in an operational system that will process customer transactions. The service which will be provided under this contract will comprise a functionality that will collectively (in conjunction with additional infrastructure components as determined by TfGM) enable a transaction processing service that meets the accreditation and PCI DSS compliance standards that are required by TfGM's Merchant Acquirer and card issuing schemes. Following implementation, the service will enable full end to end transaction processing.
