Tender description
Administrative healthcare services. The establishment of a three year operator framework agreement for the Multi-Professional Clinical Assurance, Maintenance and Adoption of the Structure and Content of Patient Records. The envisaged scope of the services to be delivered under the framework agreement include (but are not limited to) the following services; —Professional assurance of care record standards —Maintaining standards and revising them in response to feedback during implementation i.e. SNOMED CT, ICD 10, OPCS and dm+d as examples of the standards —Professional Adoption and Engagement —Standardisation Committee for Care Information (SCCI) Position statement: Ability to secure professional clinical representation to provide advice and guidance to boards, committees and groups involved in standards implementation and the development of interoperability in health care and potentially with social care. Lot 1: Clinical Assurance Services to provide highly specialised ratification of processes, data and information flows with professional representative bodies. These cover, for example, hospital referral letters, handover communications, discharge summaries, and inpatient and outpatient letters. The standards are developed using published evidence and consultation with doctors, patients, the social care system and allied healthcare professionals. The standards are regularly reviewed and updated, with the work package outputs being fully assured and endorsed by the appropriate Royal Colleges and/or other representative bodies Ability to secure professional clinical representation to provide advice and guidance to boards, committees and groups involved in standards implementation and the development of interoperability.in health care and potentially with social care. Broader consultancy from a number of suppliers to work with care providing organisations for the definition and development of clinical professional record standards.
