Provision of: GP Services (APMS) for The Limes Surgery, Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire

Tender description

NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands CSU (AGCSU), on behalf of NHS England Midlands and East (Central Midlands) and East and North CCG (the Commissioners) under joint commissioning arrangements, is inviting suitably qualified and experienced providers to deliver primary care medical services at The Limes Surgery, 1-4 Conduit Lane, Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire, EN11 8EP. As a result of this procurement exercise, an agreement will be established with the successful bidder for a period of two years from the commencement date of 1st February 2018 until 31st January 2020. There will be a possible two year extension plus a further one year. Based on the current contract it is anticipated that the service provision resultant of this procurement will have an annual agreement value £878,659 per annum. The current weighted list size is 8,897.34 as at 1 July 2017. It is envisaged that TUPE will apply. The key objective of this procurement is to commission an able provider(s) through the most current NHS England Alternative Provider Medical Services (APMS) contract. These services must be provided by GPs and nurses and the Provider(s) will be expected to deliver:- - high quality, patient centered and value for money (VFM) Primary GP services, delivered in a safe and effective manner - Primary Medical Services including Essential, Additional and Enhanced Services as set out in the Service Specification.
