Tender description

Collaborative Arrangement for Insurance Advice for Contracts and Subsequent Policy Checks. This contract is for a number of elements; Element 1 — Provision of general advice in relation to insurance Element 2 — providing advice on the insurance requirements necessary for inclusion within Contracts to be awarded by the Client Element 3 — providing advice to the Client during the tender cycle Element 4 — completing compliance checks to assure the Client that the specified insurance requirements are met by the relevant party i.e. tenderer during a procurement competition. Element 5 — on going monitoring to ensure that the required insurances as set out in the contractual documents are maintained by the relevant party i.e. successful tenderer following the completion of a procurement competition. This call off contract will be for two years or until the maximum of 100 000 GBP has been spent via the arrangement. This will be a call off contract arrangement and therefore there is no guarantee of any level of business. Users of the contract can do so as and when required. Use of the contract does not mean that the contracting authority will exclusively use this arrangement for the provision of these services when required by the authority. The contract can be used by any of the organisations subject to the Northern Ireland Public Procurement Policy (NIPPP).
