Mid Ulster District Council are implementing a Village Improvement Scheme which is included within the Local Action Group (LAG) interim strategy under the Rural Development Programme (RDP) 2014-2020. The LAG has allocated grant aid for the implementation of major and minor works programmes within selected villages. Council will contribute funding of 25 per cent to compliment the 75 per cent funding from RDP. As part of this programme it is proposed to carry out improvement works to existing play-parks in Augher, Granville, Caledon and Tobermore villages. The works include the following: — Supply and installation of new play equipment. — Installation of safety surfacing. — Placement of thermoplastic play markings within existing surfacing. — Kerbing and paving. — Fencing and railings. — Clean of existing materials. — Benches and seats.
