The London Borough of Croydon invites suitable expressions of interest to 657/2017 Healthwatch Croydon Market Engagement Event Date: 25th September 2017 Time: 10am – 1pm Venue: Raynard Room Croydon Conference Centre, Surrey House, 5-9 Surrey Street, Croydon, CR0 1RG Croydon Council are running a workshop to share feedback from a stakeholder event and our thinking to date and to explore a series of questions that will enable us to inform the specification for the re-tendering of Healthwatch Croydon. The workshop will be of interest to organisations and groups with an interest in being a provider of all, or part of Healthwatch Croydon. Local Healthwatch must be a body corporate which is a social enterprise. You would be considered to be a social enterprise if a person might reasonably consider that you act for the benefit of the community in England, and you satisfy the criteria in the local Healthwatch regulations including that lay people and volunteers are involved in the governance. The workshop is being independently facilitated and the aim of the workshop is to: • Share information about good practice in the delivery of Healthwatch • Share stakeholder feedback on the key features of a future vision for Healthwatch Croydon • Explore a number of questions with potential providers to help us to understand the capability and capacity of the market to deliver the vision • Take feedback from potential providers about opportunities and barriers • Provide additional information and answer questions about the next steps This market engagement activity does not constitute a call for competition to procure any services, supplies or works for the Council and the Council is not bound to accept any proposals offered. The Council is not liable for any costs, fees or expenses incurred by any party participating in this exercise. Any procurement of any services, supplies or works by the Council in due course will be carried out strictly in accordance with the provisions in the UK and EU Procurement Regulations. We would request that a maximum of two delegates from each organisation attends the event.
