Why the Work is Being Done DIT is focused on becoming a 'Data Driven' organisation. In November, DIT will launch a Department wide repository known as "Data Hub" that will bring data to life. This will include a customer relationship management (CRM) tool, performance management dashboards and analytical reporting tools using the latest in data science. It will allow DIT to generate intelligence and insight to drive ongoing service improvements. Problem to Be Solved To assist with the launch of Data Hub, DIT requires a team to manage training, communication, engagement and logistics. DIT also require additional capacity within the delivery space, and would like the supplier to be able to pull digital specialists in to assist with the delivery of Data Hub as and when required. The main deliverables will be: -Development of a training programme -Delivery of the programme to all users across DIT -Measurement and evaluation of the impact of the programme Who Are the Users Users of Data Hub are DIT Staff based in the UK and overseas. Staff need to be change ready, understand Data Hub as a platform, what's being delivered and how it will change the way we work. Staff must be confident using the system, feel they understand the new features and plans for after the initial November rollout. The additional capacity required within the Data Hub team would assist them with delivery across all disciplines, including development, UX and business analysis. The ability of the Supplier to flex their team in line with shifting business needs will be important Early Market Engagement Work Already Done Existing Team The Supplier will be engaging with the Deputy Director of Data and Internal Services; the Internal Services Service Manager and the Head of Digital Engagement. The supplier will also be working with the wider Development and Digital Team to align this work with other ongoing development work and product launches. Current Phase Not applicable Work Location Department for International Trade, 3 Whitehall Place, London, SW1A 2AW Working Arrangments The team provided by the Supplier will follow agile methodology including sprints, stand-ups, show and tells and retrospectives. The team will be expected to be co-located with the Digital Team for the majority of the contract. Days onsite to be agreed at contract inception. Security Clearance BPSS Clearance Additional T&Cs DIT will own the Intellectual Property (IP) of any collateral produced. The successful supplier will be required to adhere to DIT Data Security Policy (provided on request). Co-location at 3 Whitehall Place will be required for the majority of the project.
