Tender description

Project Aim This project is concerned with how the professionals and organisations involved in the recovery process, following an incident will interact with householders and SMEs, and how decisions about repair and reinstatement are made. The Authority would like to gain a greater understanding of the opportunities that are available within the process for encouraging resilient repair. Resilient repair means that, should there be another flood, the householder or SME can move back into their property much more quickly. The aims are to:  understand the process of recovery and how resilient repair can be included in ways that make it simple for the professionals and the householder and SMEs;  highlight ways in which the process of including resilient repair can be made more consistent across England  Identify opportunities to ensure resilient repair is more suitably included in the repair and reinstatement work that takes place.
