Soft Market Testing for Kingston Community Environment Centre

The Royal Borough of Kingston has decided to consider commissioning options for a range of services. These include i) provide a consistent access point which is able to showcase environmental best practice, ii) enable a partnership approach to maximise the opportunities for the community and target groups to achieve the outcomes for the growth of a sustainable borough, iii) empower individuals and their community to continue positive environmental actions. The Council would like to understand from key providers how these requirements might best be met and is therefore carrying out a soft market testing exercise to engage in early informal dialogue prior to any formal procurement taking place. Organisations that are interested in participating in this exercise are invited to submit a questionnaire via the London Tenders Portal. The closing date for responses is 12noon 29th September. Participating organisations will then be sent a questionnaire and memorandum of information. Questionnaires must be returned to the email address above no later than 12noon 29th September for receipt of questionnaire responses. Organisations are welcome to pose clarification questions and responses will be shared with all applicants. The Council will be provide feedback to all organisation, this will include information about any changes to the scope of the service, and if a formal procurement may be conducted by the Council’s with supporting timeline. All information provided in the questionnaire responses and the subsequent discussions will be strictly confidential and will assist the Council in shaping and scoping requirements and provide insight into the most suitable delivery model for this programme.
