Tender description

South Lanarkshire Council are proposing to tender for the provision and management of the following services: Lot 1 — Supported Accommodation with Outreach Support; Lot 2 — Outreach Housing Support for Households with Children, and Lot 3 — Supported and First Stop Emergency Accommodation for individuals and families. This service will work with individuals, 16 years and over, who: * have been assessed as unintentionally homeless and have a local connection to South Lanarkshire (as assessed under the Housing Act (Scotland) 1987), and * who have been assessed as having complex needs and requiring intensive housing support, either on an outreach basis in a Supported Accommodation setting. The successful provider will be able to demonstrate experience of working with multiple exclusion homelessness. They will be able to describe a planned approach to working with this client group, including the adoption of psychologically informed approach to both residential and outreach support services. This Service will work with families with complex needs who are affected by homelessness, in that they are either currently homeless or at risk of homelessness. The successful provider will be able to demonstrate experience of working with this client group. The successful provider will be able to demonstrate experience of working with homeless individuals and families in the provision of both supported and emergency accommodation.
