Tender description
The supplier is required to provide the materials, manufacture, assembly, inspection, stencilling. testing, packing and delivery (including certification and documentation as required) for lead glass packs. The glass will be assembled into radiation shielded window boxes for supplying and then the complete windows will be delivered to the NNL Workington site. Lot 1 is the supply of the full turnkey package including the lead glass blocks manufacture, assembly and the shielded box fabrication. Lot 2 is for the supply of the lead glass packs. The shielded boxes will be free issued to the winning bidder and each glass pack needs to be inserted into the box in accordance with an NNL supplied drawing.
