Tender description

This requirement involves the recovery, transportation and temporary storage of Abandoned Vehicles found within the Kent County boundary. Abandoned Vehicles are reported by District Councils directly to the Provider. Once collected by the Provider, registered vehicle owners are the contacted by Kent County Council, to ascertain whether they wish to reclaim their vehicle. The provider will be expected to facilitate the collection of reclaimed vehicles from their sites by members of the public. Should the owner not wish to reclaim their vehicle, the Provider will be responsible for disposing of the vehicle. This requirement relates to the recovery, storage and disposal (where appropriate) of vehicles abandoned within the West Kent area. This requirement relates to the recovery, storage and disposal (where appropriate) of vehicles abandoned within the Mid Kent area. This requirement relates to the recovery, storage and disposal (where appropriate) of vehicles abandoned within the East Kent area.
