Tender description

Network Rail requires various Rail Fastening Systems for use on the rail infrastructure. Current Rail Fastening Systems consist of: — Rail Pads, — Rail Clips, — Permanent Way Insulators, — Shoulders. Alternative Rail Fastening System solutions may be considered, where it can be shown there is a cost benefit to Network Rail. Our current strategy is to enter into contract with one supplier. Excluded from the scope of this requirement are any Rail Fastening Systems used solely for Switches and Crossings. Network Rail are seeking feedback on the above strategy. Please ensure all responses to this enquiry clearly answer the following questions: — Is the above strategy workable? — Are you able to provide all elements of Rail Fastening Systems as one point of supply?
