Provision of Temporary works propping to Zone B Treatment Block Balconies at Bro

Concerns have been raised regarding the condition and structural integrity of the balcony slabs. The Trust has decided to postpone the full scope of investigation, repair, refurbishment strengthening works required and has instead opted to install temporary pre-cautionary propping to the balconies. It is envisaged that the temporary works will be in place for twelve months. Generally the project involves the installation of pre-cautionary propping and associated framing and construction to provide temporary support to the existing treatment block balconies. The balconies are located at the rear of the treatment block. The propping works are generally The contractor will also be required to undertaken some site investigation and exploratory works prior to the execution of the main work.
