Provision of Legal Services for Insurance Claims Handling Framework

Tender description

This is a procurement exercise for Sheffield City Council to create a framework for legal services specific to the handling of insurance related claims. The Council require specialist external legal support to handle, investigate and administer litigated liability and motor claims. Some pre-litigated cases are also handled by external legal partners dependent on the complexity of the issues of the case or in peak periods of workflow for the internal team. Pre-litigation claims are most usually Social Care and Disease claims. It is an essential requirement that the Service Provider has a successful and established record of defendant work for the categories of claim for which the service is required which should include work for other public sector organisations or companies with a similar level of complexity.
