Tender description

The London Borough of Croydon and the participating members of the Insurance London Consortium (ILC) as detailed in I.1 are tendering for their Leaseholder Property Insurance. This Insurance relates to the properties that have been sold to tenants on a ‘right to buy’ basis. Whilst these properties are owned by third parties, as the majority adjoin Council owned properties (eg in a block of flats), they were sold on the basis that the Council would arrange insurance cover for the property (excluding contents). The period of cover will be for 5 years for the following London Boroughs: Camden, Croydon, Haringey, Harrow, Islington, Lambeth, Sutton, Tower Hamlets and Royal Borough of Kingston. Tenderers are required to be registered with the FCA to underwrite this required class of insurance.
