Tender description

The service will coordinate, facilitate, support and deliver a range of evidence-based interventions to improve oral health and reduce oral health inequalities within key target groups in Hampshire including: • The continued provision and development of a targeted supervised tooth brushing programme and oral health award scheme for 0-5 year olds in early years settings • Targeted provision of toothbrushes and paste by health visitors and other early years practitioners • Provision of online and/or face to face oral health promotion training and support for practitioners working with vulnerable adults and older people • Provision of the fieldwork for the biennial dental public health epidemiology programme oral health survey of five-year-old children, in accordance with national protocols This contract has been let for 3 years, with an extension period of up to 2 years. The maximum available contract length is 5 years.
