Tender description

NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit (AGCSU), on behalf of NHS England West Midlands and Wolverhampton Clinical Commissioning Group, under fully delegated commissioning arrangements, invited suitably qualified and experienced providers to deliver Primary Care Medical Services for Ettingshall Medical Practice in Wolverhampton. This procurement was for a Caretaker provider to deliver the Services under a short-term (21 month) APMS contract. The value of the contract was approximately 530 000 GBP, excluding the caretaker element which was to be determined as part of the procurement (expected to be between 4 000 GBP and 6 000 GBP per month). This was an urgent caretaker procurement and the mobilisation period was short. The successful provider was to be able to commence services from 1.7.2017. The Ettingshall Medical Practice has a current list size of approximately 4 300 patients (weighted) as of May 2017.
