Tender description

DCU wishes to invite tenders for the provision an Ultra-fast Laser Spectroscopy Laboratory comprising a high repetition rate (>100 kHz) femtosecond laser system, a kHz Amplifier System pumping an IR to MIR OPA and a harmonics line. The complete laser suite should be integrated with a transient 2D-IR spectrometer and a Transient Absorption Spectrometer along with associated laser diagnostics and optical tables. An amplitude/phase controller for 800 nm is desirable. Each piece of the overall system must be supplied in accordance with the requirement specifications. Ultra-fast Titanium-Sapphire (800 nm) Amplifier System Optical Parametric Amplifier covering the 2 m to 15 m wavelength range Harmonics Unit providing 2nd, 3rd and 4th harmonics of Lot 1 Lots 1-3 must be from a single supplier as the requirement to have a fully integrated system, which ensures automatic alignment of the full ultra-fast laser system, and is an essential requirement in order to undertake the planned research programmes.
