Tender description

This contract is for the provision of Community Learning opportunities for adults aged 19+. Durham County Council's Adult Learning and Skills Service are funded by the Education and Skills Funding Agency to secure adult education opportunities in County Durham. The Adult Learning and Skills Service is designated as the ‘Provider’ of this learning through provision that it secures by means of contracts with delivery organisations. The Adult Learning and Skills Service encouraged bids for Adult Learning and Skills Funding. Bidders to the fund were asked as part of their submission to design and cost appropriate, innovative Community learning programmes to support outcomes for adults aged 19+ who face a range of challenges/barriers to engagement, progression and/or securing sustainable employment. Bidders applied for funding opportunities with delivery starting in September 2017. The Adult Learning and Skills Service encouraged bids for Adult Learning and Skills Funding. All learners must be enrolled no later than 30.6.2018 for the Year One Contract. All learners must be enrolled no later than 30.6.2019 for the Year 2 Contract extension. All outputs, including completion of courses, the provision of accurate and complete monitoring data must be completed by 31.7.2018 for Year 1 and 31.7.2019 for Year 2. We will only fund activity and outputs achieved within the contract period (please note that year 2 is dependent on the availability of funding).
