The purpose of the day care service is to: Provide Service Users with a programme of activities and experiences during the day designed to help retain and improve daily living skills and to maintain the skills necessary for social engagement as specified in each individual’s care plan. To provide a respite service for Carers, by offering the same level of purposeful activity and skills maintenance to the Service Users as specified in his or her individual care plan.
