Tender description

AHDB is currently seeking quotes for professional providers of DEFRA approved DIY bovine artificial insemination courses. These courses will be a minimum of three days long with a further one day refresher course to be undertaken within 12 months of the initial course. The courses will be run between November 2017 and March 2020, with all 1 day refresher courses being run before March 2021. AHDB Beef and Lamb will provide 50% (Ex VAT) towards the cost of a training course completed by a suckler farmer or farm worker with more than 30 breeding females or by a student who can successfully demonstrate that they will inseminate at least 30 suckler cattle in the 3 months following completion of the course. The training will be delivered on a regional basis, across England.
