Tender description

Provision of 28 Adult Step Up / Step Down beds. Provision of 17 Step up and 11 Step Down beds within the City of Birmingham. Step Up service provision will be for 9 male and 8 female beds. Step Down provision is for 6 male and 5 female beds. It is anticipated that BSMHFT will publish an ITT during October 2017. Provision of 28 Adult Step Up / Step Down beds. Provision of 17 Step Up and 11 Step Down beds within the City of Birmingham. With appropriate consideration given to the delivering of care closest to home, adopting a whole system approach. Either sole provider or lead provider model are sort. Step Up service provision will be for individuals know to Birmingham Solihull Mental Health Foundation Trusts (BSMHFT) and Forward Thinking Birmingham (FTB) services, presenting with a wide range of mental issues, who are experiencing a mental health crisis an cannot manage at home, but are not in need of inpatient treatment. 9 male and 8 female beds. Step Down provision is for individuals who have completed acute care within a BSMHFT hospital and are ready to return to the community but are unprepared socially to leave hospital. Anticipated split of beds 6 male and 5 female beds. It is anticipated that BSMHFT will publish an ITT during October 2017.
