Tender description

The London Borough of Lewisham is seeking a suitably skilled and qualified Contractor to deliver on going kitchen maintenance (both planned and reactive) to a variety of school types in the London Borough of Lewisham. This includes but is not limited to the following areas: Maintenance of: — Catering equipment on both a reactive and planned basis, — Kitchen fabric (mechanical and electrical works, floors, ceilings, walls, doors, etc.) on both a reactive and planned basis; — Statutory compliance testing: — Gas Safety Tests, — Portable Appliances, — Duct Cleaning, — Gas Testing. The Contract will be issued for a period of 2 years and 4 months with the option to extend for up to 2 years at the Council's discretion. The London Borough of Lewisham is inviting providers to tender for Kitchen FM Services in Lewisham. This tender exercise will be conducted using a two stage restricted procedure. At the first stage supplier will be asked to complete the Standard Selection Questionnaire and will be evaluated as to their technical and professional experience. Those tenders that are deemed to have sufficient experience will be invited to the second stage to make a full tender submission. A contract will be awarded for 2 years and 4 months, with provision for extending the contract by a further 2 years. The estimated value of this contract is 450 000 GBP. However the potential value is up to 750 000 GBP if the contract extension period is utilised.
