Installation of road lighting equipment

Tender description

Mayo County Council wishes to inform interested parties of a planned procurement competition to procure works associated with the upgrade of public lighting along the North West Bypass. The project will consist of the upgrade of approximately 1 300 existing public lighting lanterns to LED technology, with power controller technology also being used at certain locations. The works will also include a variety of enabling works to rectify outstanding legacy issues where required. The schemes that maybe affected includes but is not limited to the following National Roads: — N4 Edgeworthstown Bypass; — N4 Dromod Rooskey Bypass; — N4 The Curlews; — N4 Longford Bypass; — N5 Longford Bypass; — N5 Charlestown Bypass; — N5 Ballaghdreen Bypass; — N5 Swinford Bypass; — N5 Collooney/Sligo Inner Relief; — N17 Knock to Claremoris; — N15 Bundorran to Ballyshannon; and — N15 Donegal Bypass.
