Tender description

The London Borough of Newham intend to implement an Event Production Management Service, to procure, commission and manage thirteen of the councils existing events contracts which can be found within the additional information. We would like to hear from potential providers interested in delivering these services, to inform the planning of our procurement process. Suitably qualified providers are invited to express an interest by 20.9.2017, 12:00. Market engagement meetings or events may be held subsequent to this deadline the two weeks commencing 25.9.2017. We are now seeking interest to hear from Event Production Management Companies to understand if merging all, or some, of these contracts to just one provider would provide efficiencies to the council whilst also making the contract more attractive to providers. Our ideal contract and successful Production Management Company will have the responsibility for researching the market, asking for quotes, procuring services and commissioning jobs as appropriate within the given budget for the events' production. The Production Management Company will also oversee the delivery of each service, process payments, review performance and contract manage the suppliers. The council would like to know if such an opportunity would be of interest to providers and whether there are any advantages and disadvantages of such an arrangement. We also welcome any other recommendations to a alternative approach suppliers may have.
