Tender description

The successful contractor is required to develop and carry out a mentoring program for students in years 12 and 13 who are academically on track to progress to Higher Education, but may have no family history of University and/or are financially disadvantaged. The aim is to raise aspirations and knowledge of Higher Education. Through an effective and supportive 1 to 1 relationship we hope to support informed ambitious decision making with regard to potential progression to Higher Education. Aspire to HE' is a partner-based consortium which will deliver sustained, progressive, intensive outreach activity to targeted cohorts of learners (years 9 to 13) in identified wards to increase the numbers of students from disadvantaged backgrounds entering higher education.
