Verge maintenance work

Tender description

The Forestry Commission is inviting tenders for the delivery of roadside vegetation management through Lots covering the counties of Somerset, Devon and Cornwall. The framework will last up to a maximum of 4 years. It is anticipated that this will be delivered by a tractor mounted side-arm flail or similar, with a head width of a minimum of 1.5 m. The work will include cutting of hedges and verges alongside public roads as well as the roadside vegetation along the internal forest roads. FC will award each lot to a single supplier. There are 5 lots: Lot 1 Cornwall, Lot 2 North Devon, Lot 3 South Devon, Lot 4 Quantocks and Exmoor, Lot 5 East Devon.
