Supply of Timber Wheel Scotch Blocks

Iarnród Éireann (IÉ) are seeking expressions of interest from sawmill/woodworking companies to participate in a tender process for a 4 year agreement for the supply Wheel Scotch Blocks to be made to an IÉ approved design (Drawing Attached). The Wheel Scotch Blocks are used by maintenance and operational staff when parking vehicles to eliminate any vehicle movement when unattended. IÉ have an approximate annual requirement for Wheel Scotch Blocks of between 1,300 and 1,800. IÉ have historically placed orders for Wheel Scotch Blocks between 3 and 4 times annually. The average size order for Wheel Scotch Blocks is 500 however on occasion, smaller orders are required for regional depots. Most orders are delivered to Central Stores, Inchicore Works, Dublin 8. IÉ are seeking to engage with a company capable of meeting the delivery requirements of IÉ whilst maintaining a high quality product which consistently meets the IÉ specification.
