The Open University's (‘The OU’) Finance Enterprise System project is intended to look for suitable state of the art systems to replace its aging core finance system and a suite of ancillary systems. This is being undertaken in a period of significant change and transformation within the whole university. The purpose of the RFI is to gain a greater understanding of the marketplace and functionality of current software solutions by gaining feedback on:- — What potential solutions could be provided, including a brief description — Functionality and additional modules available — Ability to customise (not bespoke) the solution — An indicative pricing model — Potential suppliers' experience of delivering to higher education sector customers and other sectors that may be similar. — The potential for a wider solution to include human resources and/or student records — What route to market suppliers have delivered public sector solutions, ie via OJEU, GCloud, Crown Commercial Services or other Public Sector Frameworks.
